Q. How long will a re-gassed strut last as compared to a new strut?
A. Strutwise Re-serviced struts will give years of reliable service again in normal cycles.

Q. How long will a new gas strut last?
A. A new gas strut should give at least 3 to 5 years of reliable service.

Q. How long does it take to have a unit re-gassed?
A. Normally next day after the re-service process.

Q. Can you make the strut stronger?
A. Yes we can re-gas the struts to suit your application.

Q. I'm not in Taupo?
A. No worries, we can courier to any destination, including overseas.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. Generally you will save around 1/2 the cost of a replacement unit.

Q. Why has my lift strut failed?
A. In most cases a strut is working hard in an area of heat, dust or cold causing contaminants to weaken the performance or damage the seal.

Q. Should I re-service both struts?
A. Definitely otherwise twisting will occur. Did you ever buy just one new shoe?

What other information do I need to supply?

1. It is best to send, or deliver, the original struts for identification. Sometimes the brackets from each end of the strut are required to go with the struts as well.

2. Knowing the Make, Model and Year of the vehicle is really useful.
